Who remembers these old Coke machines? (They were all called Coke machines, no matter what they dispensed)

I remember the old machines with the tall narrow door you would open and pull out a bottle. They were the glass bottles for 25 cents and later 35 cents in the 70’s. Had a rack on the side to leave the empty bottle when you were done. Always wanted to find one of these old machines and fix her up. Collectors have driven the market crazy high now, though. @robins

@reluctantpaladin which brings to mind those ancient ones, that live in the dim dusty recesses of my memory. They weren’t vertical, but horizontal, like a lift-top freezer. The bottles hung on rails. You had to grasp the top and pull it through the rails, in the same pattern as a line for a ride at Six Flags. Then drop in your quarter, clunk, and the gate would allow the bottle to be pulled up and out. Get it right!
